These bags were made of a high quality, very sturdy paper. They folded out nicely and maintained shape with larger gifts placed inside. No fear of ripping if stuffed with an oversized item. Down a star because the holes for containing the handles were a little too big and the ribbon slipped out a couple times. I just ended up using a small piece of clear tape on the inside to hold the ribbon in place. They also can be used for several occassions: birthdays, graduations, weddings, etc.These bags looked quite elegant in the photos -- perfect for wedding gifts. But the nice-looking gold cord handles which were depicted were in reality, wide, bright-yellow ribbon. It was hard to tell the tissue color from the photo, and the description did not state the color, but I assumed that since the bags were white with gold dots, that the tissue paper would be gold to match. Nope -- bright yellow! These two things detracted from the elegance of the bags, and I did end up returning them.Gift bag. SturdyThe paper arrived very well packaged. But when I used it, the gold circles immediately scratched and chipped. Just wrapping an item put scratches on it that I didn’t like.
